Since the days of Jesus – and before – money has sat in the heart’s driver’s seat. Its intimate connection to our well-being allows it to claim authority over both present and future. 

Whether your ministry is small – a simple house church of families gathering for worship and care – or large – multi-staffed, program-rich, facility-needed – money plays a role.

For the larger, money funds mission, pays salaries, and produces resources useful to both congregation and community.

For the smaller, money provides homes to meet in and income for families to fare well.

“Money’s not the mission, but where there’s no money, there’s no mission,” a wise churchman once told me.

Money is not your God; Jesus is. Money is a resource Jesus provides. Treat it accordingly.

But consider how a lack of money, or abundance, impacts the way you do Church. What changes might you make?

One last point: Beware the finger-pointing. It does the Body no good.

We understand that you may wish to return a book for any number of reasons. We accept returns shipped to us within 60 days of the purchase date. Please note that if you are returning books, they must be unused in order to receive a refund.
