Thin crust Mediterranean veggie. That’s what I ordered last night since my wife was out of town. Home alone is best experienced with a pizza married to an adult beverage.
Living out of the city limits one’s pizza choices. One is unable to throw a rock and hit a pizza kitchen in my neck of the woods. I drive 10 miles to the red, white, and blue box pizza place for the pie that lasts the evening through lunch the next day.
No urban chic but most definitely a treat.
Other treats joining pizza this week:
A great friend dropping by for a few days as he wraps up a cross-country motorcycle trip.
Zooming with some frontline pastors in New York.
Long term friends from New Hampshire hanging at our place for 10 days starting tonight.
Planning with congregational leaders in Nebraska.
An elders’ meeting with men after God’s own heart.
My wife only being gone one evening.
Almost 24 hours of steady rain.
Weather and pizza, for sure. But even more so friends and family and partners in the Gospel.
