Today I’ll drive into Austin to meet with a stranger who’s an acquaintance of a Dallas acquaintance I met on a zoom call led by a church leader in South Africa whom I met from an acquaintance in Scotland via a friend in Colorado.
If I dropped Google pins on this trek it would map from Colorado to Scotland to South Africa to Dallas to Austin.
(Did I ever mention I live outside of Austin?)
Who will you talk with today? What steps did God go to to introduce you?
God created us to be in relationship. With Him and with His people.
Every person you meet crossed your path due to a sovereign God thinking it appropriate.
He brought you together for some reason He certainly knows and you hope to.
Maybe for you to receive. Always for you to give.
God’s first nature is generosity. He gives then longs for a response. He invites and then waits.
How might you give to those you meet today?
How might you treat them knowing God desired you meet?
Especially if you have to go halfway around the world to get there.
