It appears our Creator loves flowers.
(Once you find a method that works, might as well ride it home.)
From Indian Blanket wildflowers to Dandelion weeds with flowers to Prickly Pear cactus with thorns and flowers to Yuccas with long spikes of quick growing flowers that the deer eat before they bloom.
(That last part about my Yuccas has made me want to stock up on venison.)
From Orchids whose flowers last a long time to potted Dianthus Barbatus you need to deadhead to make them reflower to Ethiopian coffee that tastes (yes) of dandelion flowers.
(I’m not a flavored coffee guy but this Ethiopian brew has a new fan club president.)
God loves flowers. So do we.
We dry them and press them. We cut them and vase them. We mourn when deer eat them. (I know. I need to let it go.)
Flowers shout of a Creator who enjoys paint brushing beauty everywhere.
It’s great to have that kind of a God.
