Had a zoom call today with an old friend. We trade emails three or so times a year. Talk on the cell a little less.
But when we do it’s like college reunion day. On steroids. Trash talking. Sharing war stories.
Speaking the same language of wanting more people in Jesus’ Church. Especially in the U.S. of A.
Ours is a spirit kindred. Brother from another mother. Or Father.
Brother speaks of genetics and blood. Common lineage. Common history.
When such relationships flow from our heavenly Father through our Brother Jesus their shelf life extends into eternity. They never expire. Never stretch out of shape.
Like some divine variety of Spandex.
You can stuff a lot into Spandex.
As you begin your day what brother or sister in Christ would you love to hear from today? Maybe you could reach out?
Send a text. Dial a number. Pray for them right now.
I suspect they’ll enjoy hearing Jesus through you.
