It’s hard to remember last month’s big issues when this month brought issues you never imagined. The chaos of uncertain funding and makeshift work spaces, all while grocery shopping with a face mask, creates anxious people and anxious organizations.
Many of us face new unwanted realities this morning. Furloughed. Laid off. Closed. Entering bankruptcy. New realities not of our own choosing, but needing to be dealt with and faced.
Every day holds at least one surprise, some producing joy, others promoting fear. Some days I have to seriously search for the joy variety. My pace to check items off most certainly turns the joy genus invisible.
