This comprehensive 2-year process typically costs $2,000 per month per congregation. However, thanks to the Lilly Endowment “Thriving Congregations Initiative” Grant and our special donors, if your church is in an underserved community or is under-resourced, you can still get our help!

We can deliver the Strategic Growth Process to you for just $500 per month.

Year 1

Four On-Site Staffed Training Events

To qualify, a church should meet the following criteria:
The congregation is located in a community where 30% of the population living within the church’s zip code fall below the Federal poverty line ($35,000 for a family of five) and/or fit United Way’s “ALICE” (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed) profile.
OR
The congregation is considered “under-resourced”. To determine this, the congregation must be willing to provide a P&L Statement and all funding sources to be reviewed confidentially.
AND
The congregation commits to forming a steering team of five individuals who reflect the congregation’s demographics and are approved by its formal leadership. This team, which does not require elected members, must be established before Phase 1 of the Strategic Growth Process begins. Their duties involve attending a virtual orientation with FiveTwo, holding monthly meetings, and actively engaging in and promoting the four on-site events of the Strategic Growth Process.

What you can expect next:

  1. You will receive an email confirming we’ve received your application and instructions on how to share your congregation’s financial documents.
  2. Grant decisions are made within 4 weeks of receiving your application and congregation’s financial statements. All financial requests will be considered. FiveTwo reserves the right to deny sponsorship for any reason.
  3. You will be notified via email whether or not your grant has been awarded.
