Spotlight on Trinity: Ice fishing 🎣 reaches new families

Trinity Lutheran Ministries Church and School, is a congregation who has loved the people of Jackson, MI for over 150 years.
Trinity is midway through our Strategic Growth Process, a 2-year journey that equips churches to use entrepreneurship and thrive.
We’ve helped them clarify the calling God has for them and unite their congregation around a compelling mission:

Through this clarity, they’ve built a team of committed leaders, launched a new outreach initiative, and are serving their community in powerful ways.
They recently hosted an ice fishing event for kids that brought together families, church members, and newcomers. Seventeen people showed up—including nine kids, many of whom caught their very first fish! With a warm campfire, good conversation, and a spirit of fun, Trinity was able to connect with new families who are now eager to be part of future church events. This simple, hands-on experience created a welcoming space where faith conversations could naturally unfold.
Trinity’s success story isn’t just inspiring—it’s proof that when churches clarify their calling and engage their community in creative ways, transformation happens.
